Engulfer™
Description:
Engulfer™ is an algo designed to take action when a price bar body engulfs two or more of the RTS lines (painted on the chart). It doesn't take the trade immediately but instead on the close of the next bar. From these two bars it dynamically calculates and places a high probability target. Some trades may be found to run straight to target while others may take their time but be found to have high probability of a not-too-distant fill at target. Daytime Traders may wish to try it on a shorter time-frame basis with a tight stop in order to limit losses and gain large winners. Swing traders with more flexibility in their risk management and through good sizing control are likely to see even more probability of targets being hit thereby delivering another actionable swing trading/trend following system to their arsenal. Engulfer puts on it's performances more when big moves are happening and on active news days.
